Yeah I was going to say get the frame checked if it has been wrecked that bad. It would suck to spend all that time and money and get it together and have it ride like crap or dog track. Like was said you can get part on here, Ebay and even Craigs list is not bad. Good luck with the project.

You'd be surprised how much stronger the newer frames are. I would definitely check it out though...but it doesn't really matter as long as you are willing to fix it. I haven't personally straightened a motorcycle frame but I see it done often. Not a problem. The frames aren't like they were back in the day where a simple dent in the frame tube somewhere compromised the integrity of the whole frame itself.
