I just bought a 2007 nightster that has been wrecked badly. I have always been an offroad person, but bought this bike for very little and want to rebuild it. I am going to need minimum both wheels, front forks, handle bars to start with. Is there any place after market or do you have to go back to Harley Davidson for the parts.Any info would be great to start this new adventure
If the hubs on your wheels are ok you can just buy the hoops & spokes from someplace like Jireh or J&P...or the dealership and rebuild them no problem. That'll put you money ahead.
welcome new guy!!
shop around for parts- most you can find from other sources. i still ended up buying stuff from the dealer when i couldnt find just what i wanted in other places.
Welcome, and good luck on your "fixer upper". post pics as the works gets done if you can. There are several places for parts, E=Bay being the biggest. Just be careful there, lots of people selling things higher than dealer prices. Google is your friend, search for what you want there first.
