oil leak

oil leak
Ok I have an 08 1200 low. the oil has been dripping on the floor from the left side. I have cleaned the bike over and over again and cannot tell where it is comeing from. Now after looking I am finding oil on top right by the starter. It is not coming out of that hose that comes from the intake, it is dry. I planned on doing the primary but now i wonder if there is a seal behind the starter. There is no signs of oil on rest of the engine. The bike has less then 5000miles on it.

You have a 2 year warranty. Make life easy for your self and take it to your dealer. Re & re a starter is not as easy as it looks. I've had to do it 3 times my self. You will need a service manual, primary gasket, shift shaft seal and a quart of oil.
