Default Rush Slip-on

Installed the Rush Slip-ons and Buckshot heat shields. Really liking the new look and LOVE the exhaust rumble.

For anyone installing slip-ons just make sure you check the condition of the exhaust crossover gaskets and replace if needed. Had the exhaust installed and realized I had forgotten to put them back on. Quick trip to the local stealer rectified that but I felt like such a Noob.

Oh, damn, those buckshots look GOOD once the pipes blue a bit. I saw them on a fresh set of headers, and wasn't impressed. Kick myself for not getting them now...

What size baffle did you go with? I Rush slip ons with the 1.75 baffles and love it. Was thinking of going with the 2.0 baffles.

I'm getting those slip on's, need to save a little more coin first.
Goin with the 1.5" baffles,,don't need loud just want the base tone.
Got to listen to the 1.75" baffles on a 48,,great sound..
The guy said he gets a very small ammount of De-cell pop and
recomended I go 1.5"

I went with the 2.00" baffles and love the tone however... after talking with a few mechanics the baffle size could be why I've been running lean. Apparently the stock ECM is able to make adjustments for up to the 1.75" baffle size but anything over that will require a retune in order to run properly.
All that being said, I've been very happy with the look/sound of the Rush mufflers and wouldn't hesitate to buy them for another bike.

I have been running them with 2" baffles for a few months now. I do get a small amount of popping when I let off the throttle at high RPMs. I think they have a really nice sound.

I'm looking into Rush slipons for my 07 883 Low. I would like a more deep throatier sound, but not obnoxiously loud. Would these be the ticket for me? Also, this may be a stupid question, what does the baffle size do for the muffler?
