Well, its been about a month since i've posted here... Been pretty over whelmed with moving an house related crap. Finally getting somewhat back into the groove. The nice part is that I got some work done on the bike and I am going to really try to have this all wrapped up by the 17th of next month. There is a big local car show that day in which I attend yearly and really want to show off the bike. Anyway, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Now is when the bike is going to really start to come together. I have 95% of my parts back from powder coating and am starting to get down the last of the parts to get together to finish it off. On with the pics...

Oh ya, last but not least... If anyone is interested, my white tank is also for sale here on the forums. So be sure to inquire about it if you might be interested or know someone who is. Tank is flawless, I decided I would like to get a tank made seeing I have gone this far into the build.

Ok, ok pics!!!

Here is where me and my new bike lives...

Yup, the motor came back out. Here is the reason why, bye bye silver!

Hello black and green!!!

Freshly powder coated head light bucket gloss black keeping the chrome trim and eye lid (not sure if I am going to run the green upper bracket or not) Only cost me $5 to powder coat it anyway:

Did some more painting to a few parts:

I will be listing the air cleaner cover for sale as well soon. I decided I am going to fit a smaller round air cleaner so you can see more of the motor. Again if you or anyone you know is interested, give me a shout

Motor back in with the help of my brother on this past Friday morning:

And that brings us to where the bike sits now. He was kind enough to come over for a few hours and help out again. I think he was just as anxious to see what my refinished parts were going to look like installed. So we put the motor together as far as the next/ last pic shows and then stop because I had a tour of the red hook brewery to get to So here she is:

Plan is to crank away at it for a few hours each friday and sunday for the next couple of weeks. Hopefully that buys me a ride to the show on the 17th. If not, no big deal. It would be nice to attend the 1st show of the season, but if not then its meant to be. Stay tuned

Nice ride man. I am also from MA. Newbie though, waiting to pick up my first bike in a couple weeks 07 sportster 1200 custom. I was wondering who does your powdercoat work? Is it someone local? Also, are they powdercoating chrome pieces? How does the finish hold up?

Good hues powder coating in Derry NH. They powder right over chrome or can sand blast it before shooting it. Powder coat is more durable than your basic base/clear coat paint job and alot cheaper.

I know the feeling, I have an 18 month old and just purchased my first home/moved in the first of this month. Its a hard juggling act, but it will pay off.
