I think it's a cool part and looks better than the Auto Meter clamp style. Yes making your own parts is cool then they come out nice.

Thanks for the support guys.. Completion pics added to the original post, it works awesome.

My paint job is lacking but I didnt expect stellar results with a rattle can, Flat probably would have came out better.

Looks nice man...good job! Fabbing your own parts I'm sure is rewarding. I wish I had the tools and know-how to do the same.

i think it's nicer than the autometer clamp and just as functional as the joker machine without the dummies that costs an arm and a leg. awesome job.

EDIT**** i have no fvcking idea how this came out as a double post.

Couple questions:

What did you use for parts to make the side mount ring? Scrap metal, plumbing parts?

What are you going to do about the dummy lights and that part of the bracket?
