NEW 48--CAN't WAIT
I'm so excited I don't think I can go to sleep. I currently have a 2006 Softail but in 11 hours I am picking up my vivid black 48 sporster. I had the dealer do some mods--basic Stage 1-Vance & Hines side shots, air filter etc. Spring solo seat, mini apes, new pegs, grips --think thats it for now. I have some other stuff I want to do. I really want to put some progressive shocks on the back and a drop in kit in the front as well as chop the rear fender. Anyway, I'm excited.

Forget about the progressive shocks...just find some low profile touring shocks...
Not only does it make the 48 look bad ***, they work great (a whole lot better then on my FLHTC...LOL)
