Default Some advise needed on next round of mods

Hey guys...
First I want to say thanks for all the help I have gotten in the past, thanks!
What I want to do is change out my bars to some drags
I dont want to really narrow on the bars, but dont want to go really wide either.
Here's what I have found that I need let me know if I am leaving something out.

New grips (optional)
Drag bars
risers with tops clamp
Speedometer relocation bracket

I am going with the air cushion Avon grips.
I am also going with the Joker Machine speedo relo bracket that has the idiot lights located on the bracket.

I am thinking of 4-4.5in risers as I want it to be a little higher than the stock configuration.

Am I leaving anything out to complete the job?
Will I need to do anything with the headlight?...I plan to later but not in this round
What would you suggest for the length of the drags?
Are the stock bars 1in?
Should I go with 1in bars that are dimpled to work with the stock controls?

I know that many here have already done this mod and would appreciate any input and or advise or tips etc.

After this round I will probably move on to suspension components...
Seat
Progressive 412's and fork springs, and super brace.

Thanks again for the help, i will promptly post pics as I add the mods.
Again here are pics of the current state of the bike....more recent pics are toward the bottom of the page

one other thing, does anyone have a part number for a set of turn signal relocators?
I have sen some that look like a Harley kit that relo's to the forks
It doesnt have to be Harley in fact something on the cheaper side would do just fine.

I would personally go with the Roland Sands Speedo Relocation/headlight relocation kit if your going to spend that kind of cash on the Joker unit.
Personally I would avoid the tall risers, if your getting drag bars what is the point of having tall risers, you would be back to where you are now.
Stock bars are 1" and are dimpled but I went with non-dimpled and wired them internally, it is really easy and you get the bars cheaper and a cleaner look.
I am running 32" bars that the manufacture calls drag bars but they have a 2" rise, I really like the 32" bars and you have plenty of room for your mirrors to be flipped and avoid the tank.

I cant seem to find the bracket you speak of.
Can't view their catalog as my adobe reader is the wrong version, is it cheaper?
Does it have the dash lights in the bracket like the Joker unit?

Wow Roland Sands site sucks ****...i cant get anything to work properly on their site.0

Anyhow,....i am not putting on drags to make my bars low and behind the tank
I am putting them on for wrist position and comfort....besides I am considering a mild tank lift which would put them just about right for "me"

Def. go with the 32" bars, that's what I have on mine and if they were any shorter, I would have had clearance issues, but I am using the stock Nightster risers.

The joker machine speedo relocater is priced ridiculously. I wouldn't do it even if I had the money. The autometer tach gauge is like $11. Also, you need to lower your left fork tube. Pain in the *** for just a speedo relocator in my opinion.......

I didn't even wanna go through that trouble for my clips. But I did

yeah, i know its gonna be a pain in the ***....but I want to have the indicator lights and it seems that is the only option I have seen to use them.
And yep it is crazy high, I dont want to spend it....it's way overpriced.

Anyone know of another option to be able to use the factory indicator lights?

That's not even close to the only option you have to keep the lights. There are a ton of threads out on this site (some of them are mine) that tell you how to keep the idiot lights without the expense of the Joker kit.
