Pls help. Battery dead. Need replacement.
I didnt use my 09 sportster for a month due to continous rain. tried to start it yesterday but was totally dead. Charged the battery. Still doesnt have enough power to crank the motor. I guess i need to get a replacement. Problem is theres NO harley dealership in my country. I called a shop & they said they have a YUASA YTX141-BS that should work. I gave him the measurements of my stock battery & his battery was slightly longer about 1/4 inch. Would this fit? The battery compartment is kinda tight. I wanna make sure it would work coz once they put in battery solution theres no returning it. I live in an island w/c the only way is by air or sea. So wanna make sure its correct.They were asking me the battery model, but its not written anywhere on the battery. Thanks in advance.

Did you put the battery on a "battery charger" or a "battery tender"? I just ask because there is a difference. A lot of people think the battery tender will do the same as the charger, but it will NOT charge a bad battery. I think it just needs a good charge as it's a newer battery, but I have seen batteries go bad in that short amount of time though.
