I saw this in the Softail section, was called "Ape Hanger ****." But the sportsters have a wide variety of handlebars that people are running.
I see a lot of guys post pictures of their bike and always, never fails, "What bars are those?" So maybe this thread can be a thread or sticky about just handlebars. Seems that is sometimes the first mod.
So post your handlebars. Clip-ons, Apes, drags. Post a picture, site to where they can be found, maybe how comfortable they are(height of you aswell), If you love them, plan on switching them out later etc.
This will help guys to get an idea of what they want to do, how it looks with this or that bars. This may clear up some clutter on "post a pic with 18'' apes, not sure if thats what I want." type threads.
Oh also If you have different levers/grips add that into description aswell.
Ill post mine tomorrow. Just got back from Xmas shopping and its late. Now got to watch my Gators.
Let the **** begin.

The road6 customs are nice. I really like those. I was going to get those or the HCC. I went to rockingham and found a vendor with everything for a HD.Got my apes for $40.
Thanks Dirk...thats exactly what I was hoping to see in this thread. Was looking at Road Six for some time now, probably this winter. Im thinking the 8" narrow bottom though (maybe yours are 14's?) .I'm just a bit hesitant about if I will like them better than the stock bars. What your opinion?

Ya mine are 14" narrows.. I say go for it, you'll never know until you try them. If you dont like them I'm sure they would be easy to sell for not much loss and installing them yourself is fun and a learning exp if youve never done it? ..
