So i haven't been on here in awhile due to school and work and lsat stuff for law school and a minor accident i had with this stupid B**** who was texting while she was driving.
She hit me on the left side of my bike as i was waiting for the light to turn green. I fractured my left ankle but all is good im able to walk with out crutches now! So all is good and bikes good now.
But im here b/c i need help from you ol' timers who are wiser than i am.
So last week i left for houston and fired up the bike and it turned on okay and what not and ran it a lil so that it ran but i tried to turn it on yesterday and it didnt turn on.
The bike is trying to turn over but doesnt. could this be due to the cold weather? has my battery died?

Not any help but, I think your gonna make great attorney. I had to read that sentence three times to understand what you were saying...lol
First thing to check is the battery charge. A fully charged battery should measure ~12.8 vdc. That's with everything turned off or the battery disconnected. Also, cold weather decreases a battery's cranking power, so it's all the more important that it has a full charge.
Hello Doc. I wondered where you've been. Sorry to hear about your accident, but glad to hear you're OK.
Have you checked all of the battery connections? Maybe something came loose when you got hit. I hope you get it figured out soon, great riding weather right now. -Dave.
If its realy cold the oil gets real thick and it can be bitch to get it to crank fast enough to start
yeah i think this may be the case...
