Funny you should post this. I was riding today and I didn't think I had it leaned over all that much but my kickstand scraped. Scared me a bit. [&:]

I bet you are grinding one of the Screws that holds your Heat Shields.

I was scraping pipes but i bumped up the preload a bit and it helped. I still grind my forward controls but man to get the jiffy! Becareful you dont hit your primary cover!

My preload is one down from max. And I want to put 11" Progressives on there too. Guess I just have to pretend I've got a BT that can't lean over too far.

To get my twisty-fix I'll either buy of rent a Buell.

I scrape the crap out of mine on both sides sometimes; worse when I'm 2UP. My Troublemakers make the problme even worse. They have some pretty good scratches on them. I'm actually considering having them cut back a bit to help. It does make your heart rate jump up quite a bit when you hear the scraping. Someone in this thread made a really good point about knowing your bike's lean limits. Better to learn before you need it than when you do. It doesn't take that much to kick the bike out from under you in a tight corner.
