A motorcycle jack and some tie downs. A second set of sockets that are deep and a set of wobble extensions. Not just a foot pound torque wrench, but an inch pound as well. And although it should be a given, no one's mentioned Loctite, a tube of dielectric grease and a tube of anti-seize. And it bears repeating, buy a service manual. If anything just so you have proper torque values. And don't forget the little things, like a tire gauge or a spanner wrench, or a good bag of rags, or a chamois.

And wherever you're doing your work, put a fire extinguisher within reach.

I've been buying some Kobalt tools from lowes too, they're not bad! they're guaranteed too, although I haven't returned any yet, so I'm not sure how that process is.

some good tunes and a cold one(s) comes in handy, also don't forget some good cleaning supplies, and a battery tender.

Used Craftsman since I was a kid, also have some Kobalt. Always try to use the correct tool, if you need the correct tool, get it.... If you use it once and it does it's job, it paid for itself!
Funny, look behind my bike in my signature pic.... Ya, I like Craftsman....

Plus some shop towels, drain pans (cake pan to catch oil) and magnetic trays to hold the small hardware (bolts and nuts). And carpeting to lay painted and chromed parts on.

Add to that some WD-40 and kitty litter. Spill some oil on the floor and find out why.

Don't forget the universal and wobble joints. Also a few various sized extensions, you will thank me when you need a few extra inches...

.... hey wait a minute.
