Sorry, but my dad was an electrical engineer. I bought all my tools, cars, AR15s, etc. myself. Thanks for the concern, though.

Excellent set of tools man!
Lol, thanks. Yeah, the Cobra is awesome, and especially the Terminator. Honestly, with it being the first factory supercharged Mustang added to the low production numbers, I think a good Terminator easily has the possibility to be a more desirable collector car than even the GT500. Not that I would turn down either one though.

I know the feeling... big kid's candy store, right there. I love to hop on the truck and just poke around, too. Snap-On has a lot of advantages, but for most I would just recommend Craftsman. Still nice tools, lifetime warranty, and a lot less to have to explain to the girl when the credit card statements come rollin' in.

i have many brands in my tool box all american made & all guaranteed for life, but you will not go wrong with craftsman for the value and quality - been collecting tools since grandpa gave me a craftsman mechanics starter set at 16 - 42 years ago - yeah i'm an adult now

Watch the newspaper and the internet for specials, they will have discount on different sets of stuff that would help you build a good tool set. Unless you are well healed money wise, getting the tools together is really a life time process. Like someone said, a good Craftsman starter mechanics tool kit is a great place to start and build from there.

+1 it's what I use.

The only tool in my box that was my dad's is his DVOM. I don't have his head for electrical, unfortunately, but have gotten a lot of use out of it. Incidentally, my dad died Sept. 11, 2000... I didn't get into wrenching as I am today until a few years after he passed. When he was alive, I was a firefighter.
