Thanks for the replies...didn't mean to jump in on a thread but didn't see the need to start another one...so from what im gathering this ignition isn't necessary but is nice to get those extra rpms..

The SE Ignition Module (ICM) was offered only for carbureted models (2006 and earlier). The EFI models use the ECM. They are not sold anymore through HD unless you can find a new old stock somewhere.

The more popular module these days is the Daytona Twin Tec TC88A.
