I am thinking about getting some fork tube headlight brackets for the rectagular headlight.
So, I asked the wife to measure the fork tube diameter and she says its 45mm +-(hard to measure), or 140mm all the way around(easy to measure).
Does 45mm sound right? Is that even a standard size? I seem to always read about 39mm, 41mm tubes but never 45. I'm trying to just get most of the parts home and into the garage waiting for me when I get back from deployment.
Thanks for any help!
Crapaolla, bought the bike used and never thought to ask what year the front end came off of... Guess that will have to wait until I get home. Plus I think I might fab up two side brackets and use some T-Bolt clamps on the tubes to get the same-ish effect but made from my own two hands instead of purchased. Thanks for all the help.
