Just purchased a 2009 Nightster. First bike. Never been on a bike lol. But I'm anxious to start. I'm having them put on Vance and Hines black short shots, a black SE Heavy Breather, a SE Super Tuner and having them Dyno tune it. Let me know what you think of that combo.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new bike. Now, before jumping on your new bike go get through the MSF course. Get your license and ride to the nearest parking lot to practice before getting on the road. Let us know how it goes. Again, Welcome and Congrats!

If you have never riden, please do yourself a favor and take the MSF course. I had experience trail riding motocross bikes when I was younger and thought I would be fine. I was very glad I took the course.
I rode with a guy that had a bike for a long time, never took a class, and he made me nervous, terrible habits. He would ride right next to me, unstable at low speeds. I will not ride with him anymore.
Congratulations on your new nightster! I too never rode on a bike before (not even as a passenger) and decided to take the MSF course to learn. A small investment to learn the basics of riding! The nightster is a BEAST.......so be SAFE! Let us know when you complete the MSF course!
