Docking hardware installation??

Hello everyone. This should be a quick and easy question for some of you out there. I removed my rear fender a few weeks back for some paint chip repair and am now ready to reinstall. I have the Detachable Docking Hardware on the fender struts. There are 2 big nylon washers on the front mount, each side. I cant remember the placement of the washers. Nothing jumps out at me as for where they could go. Can someone refresh my memory? XL 1200. Thanks

I just installed the docking hardware on my 2006 1200R. I don't recall that mine had large plastic washers. Could be add-on spacers installed by a previous owner.

mine didnt have nylon washers either. you should have the skinnier spacers on the front and the wider spacers on the rear. Just a regular steal washer and nut on the back side.long bolt and spacer, put through hole of brace and fender. Put a washer and nut behind the brace and fender.
