Just picked up my first Iron 883,its a 2009 but it only had 400 miles on it,needless to say it Beyond Mint condition.Has smoke blinker and tail light, screaming eagle slip-on's and the inverted mirrors(Love this, actually allows me to use my mirrors),12 piece Green L.E.D under-glow kit and upgraded HD headlamp bulb..What is the first (reasonably priced) performance upgrade i can to without have to drop some serious cash right away?? suggestions..thanks everyone
If you have the SE slipons you probably already have the SE air cleaner, but you didn't mention it. If not, an upgraded air cleaner would be a good idea to match your upgraded exhaust. Another reasonably priced upgrade would be shocks, but you'll have difficulty with a concensus on which ones. The Xied would be a quick, ~$100 upgrade and simple to do. I have not done that but a lot of people here have.
actually im not sure about the air cleaner, other then the LED kit everything else came like that on my bike.So i guess i can check that out.Its killing me to see the chrome exhaust pipes on it,dieing to see the the black V&H's on it but its not just the cost of the exhaust,is the labor and everything else that goes along with it is what adds up..
