I'm looking for imput/pics of V&H big radius pipes on sportsters and has anyone delt with Eastern Performance Cycles. Looks like i can get a set for 522$. I heard they stick out from the side of the bike slightly farther than stock pipes. True/False ?
They don't stick out any farther than stock pipes. They are a bit closer to the ground due to the curvature. I've scraped a few times, but they end up scraping on the bottom. You can only see the scuffs if you look underneath the exhaust. Other than that, they look and sound great!
I saw a bike sitting at a bar yesterday with V&H big radius pipes on it. I turned around and went back to look. Went inside and found the owner. He was kind enough to go out and fire it up.
He had the baffles taken out. I was impressed.
He said with the baffles in it would be about as loud as my Cycle Shack slip-ons.
I just ordered mine from Dennis Kirk. Should be here thursday : )
I love my Big Radius. As you will notice, everyone puts Shortshots on their Nightster. I have only seen a few with Big Radius. As stated before, they do not stick out, but are low to the ground. Plus they look sick. Are you going Chrome or Black?

I'm going with the Chrome on mine.
I may leave the baffles in if they are as loud as the slip-ons i have now.
Well, i'll probably take em out for spring bike week : )
