Well I finally got a chance to install my 24" drag bars the r/s controls was kind of a pain, had to loose my mirror but was able to get the controls and throttle on. The left side I'm have problems with the clutch cable. There's just to much of a angle with the stiff cable. I tried rerouting under and around the headlight and it's alittle short but took care of the binding problem. Any of you guysbhad this problem? Do I need a longer or different kind of cable? Thanks
I'm surprised you're having an issue. I've never heard anyone complain about this. Can you shift still? Is it a cosmetic worry? I'm not quite sure of what's wrong here....
OHHHH, 24" is short, so you will have a different angle. A lot of guys run the 27 or 32 inch drags. That may be the issue. I support and prefer the shorter bars. NICE choice!

that is exactly my issue, i cant even install the controls cause of the cable bending excessivly
I had a bit of trouble with my 32 inch bars I could only imagine what it would be like with those size. Your probably gonna have to get a shorter cable with that size drag bars.
Can we get a pic of where the cable is at? I put 28 inch bars on mine and had to put the cable around the headlight. put 4 " risers too, kind of a snug fit, but it does work.
Tonight I routed the cable right behind the headlight in the center of the tree and visually it looks like it's gonna work. I'm gonna finish the ls controls tommorow.
just make sure that you can turn the bars from lock to lock with out worries of the cable binding up on something. It's not going to look cool if it binds up and doesn't let you turn right and you end up in a bush, or worse.

will make sure of that, i also got to figure out how to route the brake to the master since its now rubbing against the tank when locked to the right
