Default Cable Rerouting

The instructions says I need to rerout the cables to mount the windshield. Is it necessary or will the windshield go on without moving any of them. Thanks.

Well that depends on how/where the instructions tell you to re-route them, each manufacturer has their own idea/method they prefer.

Depends on the brand of wind-shield used.

It's a Harley quick mount with my cables running in front of the bars and fork tubes. Just wondering if it would go on without disassembley of my throttle cables. I don't mind doing the clutch cable if it don't make it harder to pull. Thanks...

We just bought a QD from HD for the wifes '07 1200c. We didnt have to move any cables. I did check for any issues before letting her ride it though. Turn the bars full right / left to make sure the throttle, clutch brake are okay.
