Hello everyone;
Its been awhile since I posted anything, but I need some help! I was looking thru here the other day and saw where a few of you had reran your wiring and relocated the ignition coil and ignition key. I decided to do that and was looking where on member eliminated his connectors Well heres where my problem comes in. Because I decided to keep the stock risers on (1200xlc) (comes over the tank) my bike i pretty much have to take the tank off to work on it. I had the tank sitting on the backbone and it slipped off. I had a towel under it. anyway I think it tore up the fuel line bought a new one at J&P for total 70.00 (stealer) wanted 115.00 heres the kicker The Fuel rail got broke also the retaining bracket bent and the screw that holds it all in place sheered off at the head. I don't want to order a new one if I don't have to (the rail) but does that bracket hold the line into fuel rail to keep it from popping out of the fuel rail?? any suggestions byw the fuel rail is broke from where it connects to the bracket?
