Hurry up and put that thing back together so we can ride!
Shut your pie hole Volcom!
I need to get some wire to extend the ignition coil wires, finish up the tank lift/speedo relocate. Oh, and I'm still waiting on my exhaust to show up.
My manual should show up this week, which should speed up re-assembly of items.
Dude that looks good! Did you use high heat spray paint?
Anyways, you can get sa-weet plug wires from USKoolines.com Just look on the left menu.. click Sportster and carry on. When you find your final product you basically email the dude with the part #, length, color and ends you want (angled or straight). I live in Canada and I seem to remember them taking aboot a week or two. But they are kool and I recommend them big time.

Thanks ElGoonski. I used VHT matte black. I thought about using Duplicolor High Heat in Low-Gloss Black but I'll use that in other places.
I'll probably fab up my own wires, did it back in the day for my little rice burner but what I had meant was wiring to extend the wire from the harness to the coil. One of the wires is just a bit short and I want to make sure to use the right gauge/ type.
No prob dude, as I was reading I wasnt 100% sure if you meant plug wires or not. Wish I could help with your actual question, but I have no idea what gauge it is. Good luck!
[quote=Ta2edShady;8390275]So I started it all. Wire tuck, tank lift, engine paint, speedo relocate and when my exhaust/bars show up those will be put on too. Once I started pulling things off I couldn't stop, so now I work a bit on each project. MREED's air cleaner got knocked out today and engine paint finished. I need to go pick up some wire, heat shrink and get ready to go back to work.
While I wait for my repair manual to arrive, can anyone tell me what the breather bolts should be tightened to? It looked like the old on had red Loctite on it but would a little blue Loctite be better instead?
I used VHt header paint light scuff sprayed and baked like can said. Run idle 30 cool 30 idle 20 cool 20 and so on and I had no problems it bakes on and lays nice.
