Default Started it all.

So I started it all. Wire tuck, tank lift, engine paint, speedo relocate and when my exhaust/bars show up those will be put on too. Once I started pulling things off I couldn't stop, so now I work a bit on each project. MREED's air cleaner got knocked out today and engine paint finished. I need to go pick up some wire, heat shrink and get ready to go back to work.

While I wait for my repair manual to arrive, can anyone tell me what the breather bolts should be tightened to? It looked like the old on had red Loctite on it but would a little blue Loctite be better instead?

With the time it took to tape up the "5" and the carb, you could have removed them.

I hadn't thought about taking the "5" off. I did think about the carb, but I was worried that I might jack something up while removing it. This is my first experience tearing down a bike and until the manual shows up I'm wingin' it/ seein' how it goes.

Thanks street. I didn't think you were being harsh, just informative. Worked a little magic on the coil bracket to relocate it between the jugs. I'll get some photos of it once I buy/ find some matching bolts, washers and nuts.

Any suggestions on where to buy wiring to extend some of the factory wires?
