A vibration at 35-40 mph is typically a bit on the slow side for indicating a tire that needs balancing. Balance issues are usually more prevalent in the 50-60 mph range. I'd be looking closer for a tire that's out of round or bent wheel.
I have been doing some research on the subject of "beads" - - when talking to one tire place they told me they "WILL NOT PUT BEADS IN TIRES".
In theory the beads makes sense to me, but cannot understand why there is the conflict.
I will be buying new tires in the near future, and want to do the right thing, but if a tire store tells me they will not put beads in, it makes me think they know what they are talking about. No reason to say "no beads" when they get paid for doing the balance either way.
Anybody got "expert advise" on the subject?
