MPG issues 07' 883C
My XL883 2006, with mountain driving, was getting consistently 49-50 mpg.
'Just changed out the rusted plugs, I think it was at your advice, probably original plugs (replaced with the Champions), and indexed them to the intake valve...didn't even need extra washers on these this time.
Checked the milage yesterday, and it was up about 2 mpg...get about 52.2 mpg now, with better response.
I DO think I am going to swap the 28 tooth front pulley with a 29 tooth however, for a little taller ratio at crusing. I am afraid that 30 tooth would be a little much on an 883, think?
