I've done a bit of research on this, but still haven't come to a definitive answer. I'm looking to do the DIY Air Cleaner that I saw here on the forums. In order to do that, I'm going to need a breather kit. Basically, I'm looking to see what people have had success with or what they don't like about either type of bracket/breather kits (integrated vs. the ones with the hoses). I like the looks of the integrated with no hoses, but I'm not convinced that the integrated provide enough ventilation. On the other hand, I've heard that there is a lot of oil blowby with the regular kit. Any advice would help, I would like to get this project going.
This is what I made. I liked it, but it fills with blow by. SOmething I get a bit thanks to the dealer over filling, but I get an oil change next week, so well fix it. Thats something to think about with the integrated ones, if you over fill you're going to end up with oil on your pant leg all the time, not to mention your the side of your bike.
I had a Wimmer Machine breather kit (http://www.wimmermachine.com/_html/5.html) and not only I found it ugly but I'd spill oil on the oil tank, and the engine case. And it's expensive ($250).

Sikko - Do you like your setup? I'm looking to make the exact same thing. Any issues with it?

I do like it. I think it looks good, the only issue is the filer is no longer white do to blow by, but that should be fixed when I change my oil next week. And the filter itself is super cheap so it's not a big issue to swing by and throw a new one on
