Just wanted you guys to know....beware of Kuryakyn products. Just purchased adjustable cruise pegs and ISO Stirrups from Custom Dynamics. The bar for the adjustable cruise pegs is pitted with rust. And the ISO Stirrups have a piece that you screw together. As I screwed them a part, rust fell between the two pieces. Also both ends of the bar where covered with rust and I mean pitted rust. Not just a simple wipe off job.
Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up on this....
I wouldnt warn of Kuryakyn products as much as I would warn of Custom Dynamics... Maybe the products were sitting around for a while before they were sold?

kurakyn has in my experience been nothing but top notch in standing behind what they sell, and the quality has always been good, I would suggest trying to resolve the matter before bashing the company, see what an outstanding company they really are
Working through it with Custom Dynamics right now. Kuryakyn wouldn't do a thing. Called them first.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize if you make a metal product, coat it with a light coat of oil. Problem solved.
The package from Custom Dynamics was totally sealed. It could have been sitting on their shelves for a while but if Kuryakyn would have put some oil on it, problem solved.
Sorry, I'm pointing the finger at Kuryakyn. Custom Dynamics sold the product in good faith.
Did you see the rust on the end of the pipe? I'm not even sure the bolt would fit on there.

+1. I ordered a set of foot pegs, once they had turned up one had a defect which stood out in the chrome, I sent off an email, they replied asking for a pic of the defect, once sent I got a reply saying a replacement would be sent.
When I ask where I should post the damaged one was told to keep it, throw it or stick it on eBay.
Once replacement turned up, I found a complete set, both left and right.
I couldnt speak more highly of there customer care.

But what would you say about their quality? I guess I'm a little pissed that I spent over $200 on this stuff and this is the crap I get. First impressions are a lasting impression. Again, not sure who's fault it is.....just PISSED!
Update: Katy at Custom Dynamics Custom Service was very nice. I sent her the pictures she said she's sending it to their warranty department and she will do everything she can get me a replacement.
I'm not sure if that means I'm getting a replacement or not. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
