I would like some help about oil for my 07 883L ? Is there any oil that is better to use in my ride to try to help with my top end noise?

The best way to fix that is to have head work and put cams in. You'll never hear that noise again.

I have 60w Valvoline VR1 dino in mine and it helped a little over any 20w50 dino or synthetic I've tried. Still clatters like an old Model N Ford tractor, but earplugs help tune it out.

Can't fix it with different oil, you need louder pipes.........

At cHarlie's suggestion I'm running the 90T big oil filter I got from LakeShore HD and on my own tried the RevTech 25w60 as Fred suggested. The noise is slightly softer but far from gone.

stubby; depends on if the top-end noise is excessive, or being caused by something abnormal. If so, best to get it checked out...like Freebird suggested - heads/cams.
