Decided to join this morning - new member to the HD Sportster forum. Dropping a note to say hey to all my fellow sporty owners or wannabe owners.

It's friday, it's nice out, time for a ride.

Probably over to the beach - as long as the weather holds. We have a busy weekend w/ moving the in-laws, gonna try and sneak away for a few hours for some "me" time...

Welcome to the forums! Most of us probably lurked for a while before joining. I know I did. As you already know, you can get lots of good advice here along with some (usually) good-natured ribbing and a small dose of crap from time to time.

Enjoy the ride to the beach!

Don't we love that "me" time and how hard it is sometimes to get it!

Welcome, by the way.

As an example of the "dose of crap" you will get from time to time, I once mentioned that I bought my bike for "me time" and was told I was a "selfish turd" because I didn't want to take my wife along on every ride. As long as you have thick skin, you'll do fine here.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Yes, thick skin here - can dish & take :-)

Also, wifey "may" ride on occasion - she's slowing warming up to the idea - short trips in neighborhood...
