I own a Corvette repair shop in Chandler,az I can give you lots of details on 80 vettes. If you like the body style and plan to up grade the engine to a nice 383 it will be a cool car. They usally need a lot of work like brakes and susp front and rear. The a/c system is a joke can be made to work well but you need to have top notch cooling system. You will want to anyway if you put a 383 in. They are fun to drive and handle well when you rebuild everything and gut all the smog crap and double the h.p and up grade the tranny lol. If you can spend at least 10k on parts you will have a sweet vette when your done. If not maybe keep the bike. www.bromleyscorvettes.com

Thanks guys, I think you have helped me make the right decision. It looks like it's time to put a fresh coat of wax on the Sportster and take it for a ride and clear my head of the fog that was a corvette.

After all my bike is very reliable and gets me where I want, when I want. Not to mention you can hook up with some friends, go for a ride grab a burger and beer and have some great times.

I've got an 86 convertible... It's fun but I'd never sell or trade my bike for one. More work, more parts, more money. If I had to choose one, it'd be the bike. Still, there's nothing like going from 60-120 in the blink of an eye...
