thanks for that info Parabellum, I will definately talk to Nightrider about that. After more reading I am leaning towards the Vied instead of the Xied, but I will contact them and get their direct opinion.
If you like the look of the Iron trading up is not an option as you probably know. I bought my Iron new knowing right from the beginning I would be converting it. Nightsters are nice but they still do not look like a Iron and the look of the Iron is what I wanted.
After doing a lot more reading on this forum, I am now leaning towards installing a Power Commander V after I have my SE 1200 conversion done (also SE slip ons and SE stage 1 AC, stock xl1200 efi download). I do intend on putting the bike on the dyno eventually, but I am not sure if I will be able to afford it right away so I may want to ride it a few months without the dyno time.
My question is: can the PCV be used without dyno time and will it run okay, until I am ready to pay for the dyno? I was going to order and install the PCV myself.
i have a newb question. if i throw vance and hines short shots ( love the way they look) on my bike, to i have to buy anything else to install with it?
