I dont care anymore I need a 3.3...I am gonna start whining about having to fill up everyday I ride to work. BooWhoo I bought a 3.3 and took it to Sprockets Custom Paint In Prior Lake MN. Small shop in the Brent's backyard at his house on the lake. I asked Jim's opinion (Brent's Hired Gun) about pin-striping. I ended up letting him have free reign. I am VERY impressed with the speed and quality of their work. Highly Recommended !!!
Looks good... i think the 48 tank is a little bit disproportional to lines of the current EFI Sportster... which is good for a unique look, but doesn't look like it belongs on the bike. It's sort of the same story for the 4.5gal tank; it really only looks good on a Custom with hard bags and a windshield, otherwise it's bulgy and over-powers the lines of the bike.
I occasionally get fed with having to constantly fill my 48 tank but I just love the way it looks, whenever I see a nicely done 3.3 gallon tank like yours I'm drawn a little bit further over to that way of thinking!
I cant fault you man yea the small tank looks good but that was part of the reason i stayed away from the 48 ... i commute to school ( 80 miles RT and I didnt wanna be running on empty half of teh trip back ) ! New tank looks sick
