My wife has a 2004 883. She is very vertically challenged and we have done A LOT to try and compensate for this, low shocks cut an extra .375 of an inch, White Bros. lowering blocks added to rear shocks, 2 inch drop kit for the front. She has a Mustang solo seat and it has .75 inch bumpers to space the seat off of the module. Has anyone relocated this and if so, where? I can take a .25 inch out of the bumpers and still be off of the module, but would like to move it and then remove the bumpers all together. Gonna cut down the sides of the seat to help her legs seem longer. Any ideas would be considered and greatly appreciated.
any1 have more pics of this .. I am wanting to put a springer seat on ... thought of a smaller battery ... but if there is room next to it and the cover fits ... Great!
There is room, but not much. I had to position ours differently than Streetfighter did. The '04 module was shaped slightly different. It took several hours of head scratching, but we got it. Whatever works best for your bike.
