Header wrap
Didn't get back to this thread before starting the work. I ended up soaking the wraps. I know this will eventually hurt the pipes but honestly I don't plan to keep these on for more than a year. These pipes are louder than what I want to keep on the bike. They were not my choice as this is what was on the bike when I bought it. I want to go with a 2 into 1 pipe like the D&D. The wrap wasn't too hard to do but I did have to do the front pipe twice as I over-wrapped a little too close the first time.

Went out into the garage this morning and there was a funny smell. I'm sure it will only last for a few cycles.
