My battery would not hold a charge. It was the stator. I replaced the stator and the battery problem was fixed. I put the bike back together and took it for a ride. I went out for about 15 minutes. Came back and checked the voltage and it was fine. Problem solved, well I thought it was fixed.
I took it back about, about 2 hours later. I was about 15 minutes into the second ride and the speedo, odometer, tach, blinkers, horn and brakelights stopped working. The headlight works fine, (high and low beam), the marker lights work, but won't blink and rear light works but won't get brighter when I hit the brakes.
Could it be the bank angle sensor? It did go out once before, and the same crap happened.
Sounds like you blew the "accessory" fuse.....that is where I would first check. The headlight it is on a different fuse (lights fuse) with the tail light. The big question is how/why?

you were correct. Now I will ride to work tomorrow and see if it happens again
Have you done anything else to the bike recently besides replacing the stator??
It sat for a couple of weeks. I tore it apart to replace the stator, but I had to buy an impact wrench to finish the job. I did put another igniton module in it at that time too
