I am trying to decide whether to go with the Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 air cleaner that uses the stock AC cover or the new Round Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 for Sportsters. Is anyone running the round one? Do you have photos?
What do you guys think about changing the look to a round AC on a Sportster as opposed to keeping the traditional Sportster ham can shape? I'm intrigued by the round one but I'm not sure it will look right on a Sporty. It may be that I just want change for change's sake. Opinions please?
I have not bought mine yet but when my bike hits the road again this spring it will be with the new round AC for sportsters. I love the raw look of it.
I am in the same boat, been kickin it around for a while now. I have seen the JM 4" round ones and the Ness Big Sucker (think it is 8"). I wonder what the new SE Stage 1 is.
I have been close to changing several times, but I don't hate the hamcan.
I have read the DIY thread, personally I think the SE looks a lot better. But, to each their own, that's the beauty of customizing, do it for yourself!
