sux about the battery dude. that was my fear of going with a smaller battery way back when i first chopped the bike. i made that stock battery fit and i'm glad i did. the bike is an 08 and i'm still running the stock battery. been on a tender since day one.
oh btw...you're right, spring can't come soon enough brother. we gotta hook up this summer too! i'm dying to get close to that bike and go over it with a fine tooth comb!
Hell, I'm gonna leave the stock battery in there for now. I guess I have to eat the Alien Motion battery because they have not responded to my email and I don't want to spend the money on something else right now. The stocker is working great...original 07 battery that I pulled out of the bike in October 2011. It kicked around the shop for over a year, no tender, no nothing. Threw it back in the bike and it worked like a new battery. Only problem is I really had a heck of a time getting it in there. My fear is it's putting a lot of pressure on the wires as they exit the frame. Time will tell I guess.

Seriously, I want to make the trip down to Philly this summer. I'm thinking maybe August but I'll coordinate with you ahead of time on the schedule. Looking forward to seeing your bike up close to man.

Thanks Bud. Do one. It's a lot of work but the reward is tremendous.
Thank you, gentlemen. Yes, it's getting late. I am aware. But just so you know, I did get out for a short ride on Saturday, just not on my Nightster. Ozzie practically forced me to take the KZ-750 for a ride. I don't normally ride someone else's bike but I am desperate and the weather was beautiful I got the feeling he wanted me out of the shop for awhile, so I went for a ride. Enjoyed the hell out of it to.
This is the bike he is eventually gonna do a fat front end on...he has the forks and wheel/tire and all the parts, just no time to do it because he spends all his free time working on this "Winter Makeover".
