Thanks guys. Ya, they don't give the Rough Craft stuff away but it is well made and I think it goes good with the rest of the blackness.

Hey Jackal, thanks man. I've got about 2200 miles on her since finishing the project around this time last year, maybe 1000 of that since May when things warmed up enough for me to enjoy the ride. This year has been ***** for decent riding weather, unless you like cold weather riding or riding in torrential rain. Practically every day since the beginning of June we either have or threaten to have thunderstorms in the late afternoon. So I haven't gotten out as much as I like and I can't really ride to work without the distinct possibility of having to ride the 35 miles home in heavy rain. And I hate when that happens.

But she's still a joy to ride when the weather and my schedule permits and I haven't had any problems to speak of.

Thanks man. Those are the stock forks. The fork covers between the triple clamps are made from steel pipe and painted black. If you go back a few pages in the thread there are some pictures of how I made them.
