Hey all,
Just wanted to post these pictures of my 08 Nightster. Its my first Harley and i am loving it. Now that winter has settled in over northern colorado i have been doing some work and making the bike my own. A good buddy of mine made some custom brackets for the tank lift, i did the dk customs coil relocate, and i have hidden my wires under the tank. I also did the Harley Davidson drag bars, and flipped the mirrors. More pictures to come
I didnt like they way it looked at first, but i like it, my fab guy and i are going to make some custom plates to cover the gap on the rear, give it some time streetfighter, i will post photos when we get to making the covers. I appreciate the input, i just have an idea in my head with where i want to take the build.
Pervy- i did the Harley Davidson 32" drags with 4" pullback part number was 55800035
so after looking at the bike for a while last night removed the back of the lift and dropped it back to the stock position. It does look better. And now I won't have to fab covers to hide the gap. After I get back from alabama I'm planning to make custom exhaust. Pics to follow. Thanks for the input
the only possible reason i would have the back end lifted is so that I get to use all the gas i could out of the tank. but I'd rather just raise the front and re-locate the fuel line further back.
but i don't care that I make my buddies stop for fuel every 100 miles
