I am posting a few pics of my project bike. It is a 1996 Sportster with less than 4,900 miles on it. I picked it up in early November with plans to create a café / flat track style bike that I can ride on the twisty back roads. Here are a few from the day my buddy and I towed it to my home:
Lookin good! Since you said you are making it a cafe racer style, are you going to get rid of that seat? If so, I might be interested.(send me a pm) My stock seat sucks when riding two up.

Sorry, if I had the seat I would send it to you. Traded it to a local used bike parts dealer for some pieces that I needed.
Thanks. Weeding out all the unnecessary electrical wiring now, as there is much I do not need. Next I will remove the carburetor for correct jetting and a rebuild.
