Ren, your one piece bar does impress me man, it looks bad "S". Good looking bike! Thanks for sharing.
May I ask what speedo bracket that is? Thanks

would those duece risers fit on a sportster though? I like that look as well, i see them for sale on that webpage you posted just not sure if they will work on a sportster/.

The Duece style are 6" with a little bit off pullback.

They have a raised boss on the bottom of them, which is easily removed.

When I did mine, I just took a high speed grinder and ground away. When I did my brother's, I was a little smarter. I took a hacksaw and cut through it like butter and used a file to make sure the bottoms were flat.

You can sort of get an idea of the amount of pullback from this pic:

Hey guys...check out www.kcint.com for great prices on different risers and bars.

I got drag bars for $35 and they are the fat bars...looks beefy. I also got Duece style risers that have a pullback to them.

Here is a pic of the same setup on my brother's Superglide...I have a Street Bob.

MidWest XL, that is a sharp looking bike...sort of the look I'm going with on my Bob.
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SPEEDO MOUNT? I NEED ONE FOR MY DRAG BAR SETUP.

This will be the most expensive part!!

http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup...0-B27DECFE0B90

JP Cycles has it for $120, butI remember my brother picked it out of the Drag Specialties catalog at the dealers...it was $99.

The one that fits the Duece style risers we have is 1 1/4". The black mount is from a 2005 style Dyna since his 2006 is all one piece with the bar clamp. Found it on Ebay for $10.00. I don't know what the Sporty comes with, but it says it fits certain styles.

Here is my setup on the Bob...cool looking and comfortable too.

Before i buy all this, does anyone see a problem i dont?

I have a 2000 883

I am going to buy these bars here: http://kcint.zoovy.com/product/60-50-263-06

I am going to buy 4" pullback risers from ebay

I cant afford a $100 part to remount the speedo no matter how much i want, so for now i need to come up with a way to mount it. I saw a thread where someone mounted the speedo to thier headlight bracket, they just had to open up the holes on the speedo mount. I was thinking of doing that. If not, what other options do i have to mount the speedo? I saw a thread once where someone used long sockets or something like that i just cant find the dam thread ive searched everywhere.

Ok, I'm going to help you get this done very cheaply...pay close attention.

Go on Ebay and search for Cble clamps in the motorcycle section. You can get 3 for less than $20.00. You need the 1 1/4" ones.

They look like this:

Now use these like that $100 mount, but use a nut and bolt through the end that would hold the wires. You may have to go big on the bolt, or even sleeve it with some runbber hose.

If you don't understand, I have a couple of these clamps that i can set up and take a pic of sometime.

Wait,I just saw that you are not going to get the same risers I have.

You will need to make sure the riser is round, and then you'll need to measure the diameter to see what size clamp you'll need. Probably about 1".

thats funny i saw those on ebay and was trying to figure out how i could make those work. Looks like someone beat me to it. A pic sure would be helpfull, i am not sure how the speedo would mount to those. I really would like to have my speedo mounted down instead of sticking up off the handlebars if possible. Thanks again for your help.
