Hey guys--been shopping for awhile, planning and saving. I've pretty much settled on a Sportster. I've test ridden a few and just can't stop smiling, but I know I'm gonna want to customize, obviously. Recently I've fallen in love with this custom, vintage bobber. I'm sure a lot of you have seen:
I'm trying to plan out something similar, but do my own take on it. I know I can't afford a springer front end right now. Can anybody recommend similar bars? Not even sure what those would be called beyond speedster, which are springer only. I was also looking at the narrow beach bars.
Bigger question: anybody know of a similar tank? The one there is for older Sportsters, and more importantly, discontinued.
I think the Narrow Beach Bars are the way to go, but I'll be doing the cabling a little differently.
Seems like my biggest obstacle right now is the tank. Any ideas? Know of something similar or maybe some keywords of that style I might try searching for.
