I've done some research, but i thought i'd throw it out here (i'm sure it already has) and see what some other opinions are. Anyhow, my question is; Is there any descent cams that are "bolt in" and that are worth it? Or what do some of you recommend? I'm not looking to out run everyone, i was just looking for a little bit more power without going thru the motor. Let me know what y'all think. By the way, this is for an 07 Nightster. Thanks
Well I was just looking for some extra launch off the line and I clearly found it with the 551's. The difference is very noticeable but this is on an ultra. Good luck.
Cams are useless without the complimenting headwork.
+1 Just as Wood said...............

BT's and Sportster motors have nothing in common and this statement should be ignored........
I've been looking at cams too, just for a little extra help when on the freeway. I'm sad to hear they aren't worth it. The only reason I didn't buy them yet is installation prices are too expensive and someone told me I need a special tool

No special tools are needed. Only thing needed is the service manual for your model and year bike.

The only special tool required is either internet access for forums such as these, or as xfreebirdz said a service manual. Both are life savers.
