Nice Video, been across that bridge a few times myself.
FYI - if you haven't found it yet, there's a FL Crew section here on the forum.
We have a ride tomorrow to Vero Beach if you're interested. There's several riders coming from the Tampa area.
hooked a 6 foot tarpon off the fishing pier, the old bridge, did;t land of course.mt mom lived in bradenton...wish i was down there today, getting ready to SNOW
Multiple GoPros'? How many passes did you make across that bridge? Really like the shot looking at the rider with the bridge cables going by on the right. Fun Stuff..
Never been over it, but sailed underneath it a few times. I'm retired heavy highway construction + that bridge is an engineering masterpiece. Those ships just barely make it under. Got another cruise booked for Dec 9, this time outta Miami.
Nice.
I went to the University of Tampa back in the eighties and would go over the old bridge to visit Ft. Myers. The new bridge opened just before I left Florida so I had to check it out. Definitely an impressive piece of engineering. It's been about 25 years, but one day I'll go over it again.
