Default Pulling the trigger on a 48! Need help!

I'm buying a used 48 in orange. I'm getting them to throw in a rear seat and sissy bar and pegs. My question is what looks the best? I want one to easily come off and on. Pics would be great.

Also plan on a Air cleaner and a set of black short shots.

What other mods to you guys suggest?

The Sedona Orange 2011 or the 2010 Mirage Orange Pearl?

I know that some people like the stock seat, but I think it is awful. I love my Mustang Solo.

It's actually a 2012.... Just used...

I do like the stock seat. I'm thinking short shots, and black spike filter... And some nice pegs...

You'll probably find out really quick that the stock shocks are harsh. Get it and ride it a little while first before you decide what you do/do not want to change.

I'd say to hold off on the Short Shots unless you're positive that's what you want. You'll quickly find that it seems EVERYONE has Short Shots.

For a rear seat I just have one of those Phantom suction cup seats. They're like $30 on Ebay.

I think that HERE above has the best (HD w/ holes) bar (and hios entire setup looks right too).
Make sure the bar has the detactable hardware.

Seats, FWIW I think a pillion looks best with the spring seat.
Again HD has a pillion.

Bar pads...many options, yet I'd try to match the color and texture of the pillion and seat.

If you're doing any 2-up riding, then heavy duty shocks are a necessity on a Sportster. Try Progressive 412 or 440 HD shocks, great value for the money and the difference in handling and cornering is incredible. Get the stiffer Prog. front spring kit also ($99), not the lowering ones. That will make a HUGE difference in the ride quality.

Any exhaust (even as simple as Rush Slip-Ons), the HD SE Stage 1 a/c kit, the HD stage 1 download, etc. all will give it that Harley sound and help the engine breathe better. You can spend from $300-$1500 depending upon your style and performance preferences.

Enjoy.

I think the front springs were $99, and the 412 HD's were $199 or $299. Check out the Progressive Suspension website. You can order them from your local HD dealer and save on shipping costs.
