So I had my tank painted last year and pinstriped....I have grown to hate the silver. So I have been looking at Blood Reds, Dark Oranges, and even Greens. All are metallics and are PPG Vibrance Paints. I am really drawn to the Reds and Oranges but not sure what I want. Anybody have a 3.3 Gal tank in metallic red??
Can't you wait for me to finish mine before you steal my ideas? Haha. Just kidding. I dig the greens but I'm starting to see a lot more of it. And now the 72 comes in the dark red metal flake ... Guess that right there would push me to orange.
PPG is a second to HOK. Why not go for the best if you wanna spend the money??

Right but the guy I work with cuts me a deal...because he uses PPG. PPG's colors are awesome and if I wanted to spend a fortune on paint I would be rich.
Streetfighter....have I told you lately how much I love you ???
PPG has there vibrance brand. DuPont has Hot Hues. Hok is similar, but overall is superb. The best guys in the biz use their paint. I have used it as well. just a matter of opinion, I guess. I still love my $15 chameleon paint from Lowes lol.
The possibilities are almost endless. Think good and hard before you spray your tank. Love you too! LOL
I was gonna keep my stock glossy black and replace the two silver stripes with a thick solid white metal flake line then lay a orange Harley Davidson logo with black outline. Then I saw a chip in the front of the tank from road debris, and thought..... why spend the dough if it will be imperfect in no time at all.
here I sit all broken hearted.
