The rear wheel was starting to flake chrome around the holes and really looked like crap. Also ended up getting a new rear rotor. Was getting a small shake in the rear and when I had the bike up on the jack I could tell the rear rotor was warped a bit.
Decided to paint the rear black to make it look better than the flaking chrome.
Also got a new set of Avon's front and rear.
I picked up a 19" front wheel for pretty cheap off Craigs list, bought a new tail light and plate mount off ebay and a used set of 1.5" signal stalks off ebay. Here is the final look.
I have more plans in the future but this is it for now. I have a used front and rear fender in the attic waiting for the time I can afford a new paint job.
I think it looks great so far Virge. I like the 19" wheel but I'd paint it black to match the rear. And to go with the black wheels I'd do the lower fork legs black as well. But that's just me. Nice job so far.
Yeah I liekd the 21" front wheel better, but it's your bike and I know the 19" handles better as I have had both. I would just remove the front fender and get a differant seat and the bike would look alot better, but it is nice now.
It's the stock size for the 19" wheel which is 100/90 vs the 90/90 of the 21.

Most of that is still in the works. This was just a stopping point for me to save up more money and to get riding again.

New seat is in the plans and I have another stock fender so I don't know what direction I want to take with that yet.

I agreee with the looks of the 21" front but man what a difference in ride with the 19".
