So i've been searching the internet to find a new seat for my nightster. The stock one is just far too uncomfortable. I'm trying NOT to spend a fortune lol so i was wondering if you guys have any leads on a good place to find seats
I like Mustang seats. I had a solo day tripper for my Iron and also a Fastback. I'm adding the new cafe Sportster for my 48: http://www.mustangseats.com/Product/...Tank-Cafe-Solo
I find their seats very comfortable, durable, and they look good on the Sportsters, IMO.
a few friends recommend that but unfortunately every freaking upholster in my area doesn't do it..or won't...or has never..do you have any suggestions of a place online that does it?
I have the Sidekick seat (not much padding on it) and have recently put on the iron seat (which is a huge improvement and far better than the stock Nightster seat).
Check out these guys to modify your stock seat. They did a stock 48 seat for me and it was much more comfortable than the stock version. http://www.meancitycycles.com/

I have 3 seats for my '09 Custom; the original 2-up seat, a Mustang Vintage wide w/backrest and an '08 Nightster seat that was redone with memory foam by MeanCityCycles.
My favorite of the 3 is the Nightster seat for everyday riding and short trips of 400 miles (round trip) or less. It's very comfortable, sits nice and low so I'm "in" the bike and keeps me from sliding backwards under heavy acceleration.
I had an '09 Bandit seat redone by Spencer (http://greatdaytoride.com/Home_Page.php) and it was a great improvement. I heard recently that he doesn't do Sporty seats anymore though.
